Great food at great prices. The portions are quite big and they provide large tables for people to hang out in a group.

This place is always consistent with their pizza. This day hubby said he felt it was better than ever. I always find it delicious. It's a great place to stop by if you're in the area. The salad wasnt well presented but it was good & all I used was oil, vinegar, salt & pepper. There was this amazing smell of fresh garlic (cooking) and when we were leaving I mentioned it to the cashier, who is directly opposite the kitchen window, & she told me that they had just made some focaccia. I should have ordered some to go, darn it. I had ordered a Shirley Temple & the waiter at least asked me if I wanted Sprite or Seltzer. In another place they just fixed it with seltzer water or ckub soda which wasnt good at all. We decided this would start being our go to for pizza instead of another place. We have several places to go & this will replace 1 of those.

Ordered take out during pandemic....excellent dinner along with salad and bread...food is always hot and good....come up from manhattan....waiting for them to open up again....

i ordered chicken francese and my boyfriend ordered a soup. the waiter was nice but spent time on his phone drinking his coffee while we waited for the check for 10 minutes. my boyfriends food came out 15 mins before mine. my pasta was dry, rubbery, and watery because it was sitting out and they didn’t drain the pasta. the chicken was good, though. there was a rather loud table arguing over their marriage from 25 years ago behind us and no one asked to have them quiet down.

Had the Chicken Marsala, Delicious!! Nice Quiet Atmosphere, Great for Small Get together!! Staff was Friendly and not overly attentive, (No One likes a helicopter Waiter/Waitress) Very Ample Portions.. And Probably one of the Best Cappuccinos I've Had In A Real Long Time!!

This establishment just changed owners recently. Chef Miguel just bought the business. The food is great, he also went a head and added a bar into it when you walk in on the right hand side. I remember the old owners the food and establishment just changed for the better. Great Job!

Good chicken parm ! Vegetable wrap could be better. Clean and good service

This place used to be pretty good. Moved away and came back to visit and ended up there. It was terrible! Had baked ziti with eggplant. Asked server if eggplant Parmesan as breaded and fried, she said it was but it wasn't. The portion was tiny and the pasta was over cooked. Totally falling apart. This might be ok in the south but at an Italian restaurant in NY? Really !?

Great food , but they need to relax on cleaning and removing good while people are still finishing their bites . The guy came 4 times try remove the plate . When people are done or say they done then clean it . I hate to be rushed. On top of that there was not even a lot people in the restaurant.

Been coming here for years. This place has amazing pasta!!! I always find it hard to choose between fettuccine Alfredo or pasta a la vodka. This time I choose vodka. So bomb and saucy!! My moms bc got a Caesar salad. Big and tasty. Bread of course was yummy. I didn’t give it 5 stars bc our server was kinda wack. Nonetheless bomb food!

Pizza beat opened its doors in 1977 and has been feeding people for 42 years. It's very good Southern Italian cuisine and good pizza as well. My mother and I just had a great salad and a pizza with sausage, meatballs and pepperoni. The service was absolutely fantastic. The place was filled with neighborhood people. There's a waitress that's been working there for over 25 years and the rest of the staff is very young. It's not the original owners anymore, however the standard of excellence of years ago is still apparent. My mother and I highly recommend you going and enjoying the pizza here and the salads. They have an excellent menu to choose from and specials everyday. I must admit they are pricey, so take a wallet full of money!.

Delicious food and friendly , courteous staff. We were a party of nine and only had to wait 10 minutes for seating.Excellent food. Great family restaurant.

Had a broccoli calzone. Cheese was sparse but broccoli was plentiful. Not enough tomato sauce with the order. Mozzarella, ricotta were basically non existent. Wish I didn't have this order to go so I could let the new management know about this. Nice owner. I still wish him much success.

Everything was alright, not great just OK. Had better. I even thought prices were a little higher than most places little it.

This place is worth a visit. They serve big portions for affordable rates. Constantly well organized and with awesome atmosphere. Will visit here again.

Don’t waste your money. Service was horrible. Had to keep on getting up and asking for stuff. No buddy came to see if you needed anything. If I could I would have left zero stars but had to leave a star to post this.

We had a very enjoyable dinner. They offered a large menu- salads, appetizers, Pasta dishes, entrees( chicken, veal, Eggplant , pizzas, soups, Seafood, steaks and chops, calzone, wraps,burgers, wedges, sides, drinks and desserts. They offered both single and family style servings. I had Chicken Primavera- came with a side salad and a side of pasta. My friend had Chicken marsala with a side salad and a side of pasta. Other people in our party had a fish dish, raviolis and meatballs and eggplant parmesan. We all enjoyed our food. For dessert my friend and I shared a tartufo- very good too. In addition we had good service.

Place is poorly managed,empty tables people wating half hour on a line. No good!

A little disappointed. We went with the outdoor dining option. They had built a platform over parking lot. Great idea. However, They cleaned the table with the same rag they used before. Not enough cleaning during this time. The menu was the same plastic one and we had no idea if they cleaned that off either. The worst was that the waiter and the cashier had their masks under their noses. Food was excellent but not sure if I’ll go back any time soon.

I placed a small catering order ( 1 lg tray of chicken alfredo; 1 lg tray of chicken penne a la vodka; order of ceaser salad and requested the order be ready for 3:30 p/u as I wanted it as hot as possible for the gathering and from the neat packaging of the trays to the absolutely delicious food and extra alfredo & vodka sauce w/ all the trimmings EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT! Nicely done. Great food at a good price with great customer service. Thank you Pizza Beat!!!!!

Waited 20 minutes & left after asking busboy 2 times for service as the waiter & waitress discussed that this side is yours this side is mine. Unfortunately we were seated on end against wall under tv not in there service area discussion. There was only 4 tables of customers & us on a Sunday early afternoon.

I grew up coming to this restaurant as a child. I am now 45. They have truly excellent Italian food! Highly recommend!

Varied menu, wonderful appetizers, nice fanily atmosphere, courteous staff, very nice overall.

This is an old school family Italian restaurant. This is great for large parties or for the kids, nothing formal here but just good solid Italian food decently priced it's been the same owners for the last 20-30 years everything's made fresh and the portions are very large and the prices are very very reasonable I highly recommend coming here if you need to take out a large crowd and an affordable price. This is not the best Italian restaurant in the area but it is adequate

I have been going to Pizza Beat over 46 years loved their food. Started going when they had the icecream section when they first opened and served burgers also.Now that it has changed hands their food is horrible. Pasta under cooked, shrimp over cooked and cannot find the the mozzarella on my shrimp parmigiana. Don't waste your money going here instead try another restaurant like Carlos or other italian restaurant in Yonkers we have plenty of them

Great service! Fast! Good food

The servers are excellent, and they move enough food to still have the freshness and quality. But don't be fooled when they say it's the same Chef for 30 years. I've been eating at Pizza Beat for around 40 years and the taste is dramatically different. If you liked the sauce , you'll be extremely disappointed. Not only does it not have the fresh texture, it really tastes like an over-oreganoed version of Spatini. Definitely not as good as Spatini. The food is fresh, but over-salted and over drizzled with oregano and lacks the delicateness that it had in previous years. I wish the new owners well but I wish they had not insisted on putting their spin on things.
